About Lisa Williamson MSc MCSP SRP
Chartered Physiotherapist, Massage Therapist and Sports Scientist
Lisa is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Sports Scientist with experiance of working in sport and in the public sector.
She is multi talented and graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with an MSc in Physiotherapy having previously qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiology and Sports Science at Glasgow University. As well as working for Back2Fitness, Lisa also works for the National Health Service and loves working with both athletes and the general public.
Importantly no matter which area she works in, Lisa shares the Back2Fitness philosophy of assessing and treating every patient individually which allows for the best outcomes. As such, every treatment is specifically tailored to each person.
Lisa has also previously worked for the Scottish Rugby Union as an anaylist, and is extremely focussed on the fine details. These qualities are extrrmley important as well when assessing patients.
Lisa is also an accumplished athelte having represented Scotland (U23) in Rugby Union. She is a team player and is committed to achieving high standards both on and off the pitch. This has allowed Lisa personally, to have a greater understanding of the challenges facing athletes returning to both individual and team sports.
As part of the Back2Fitness team, Lisa is focussed on providing the best research-based treatments for each individual client and shares the Back2Fitness philosophy of providing the best treatments to all.
